Outono e cogumelos

Ao andar por entre o montado nesta altura do ano, o cheiro a terra molhada e a madeira humedecida é vibrante e indiscutível. O estalar das folhas secas e o cair oco das bolotas são os sons mais recorrentes, juntamente com o doce chilrear do pisco de peito ruivo (Erithacus rubecula), agora abundante nestas paragens, e o ocasional chamado esquivo de uma rola turca (Streptopelia decaocto). Mais subtil, mas ainda assim notável aos mais curiosos, é uma leve mistura de aromas frutados e fúngicos provenientes da enorme variedade de cogumelos a nascer vigorosamente por tudo o lado. É sobre eles o post de hoje!

Tão convicta de que iria “apanhar” um daqueles vaidosos e muito belos cantores de peito ruivo na minha lente que só quando pisei alguma coisa de textura esquisita é que reparei na variedade de espécies de cogumelos que tinha a minha disposição, não perdi mais tempo, mudei de lente e fui a descoberta:

(há! Eu sou uma mera leiga no que toca a fungos, por isso se me quiserem ajudar a identificar algumas destas espécies, ou se notarem que errei em algum nome, por favor corrijam-me! Eu quero é aprender! Prosseguindo..)

     

(aguarelas / watercolors)

When walking through the cork trees during this time of the year, the smell of wet soil and moistened wood is vibrant and irrefutable. The crackling beaming from dry leaves and the acorns hollow fall are the most frequent sounds, along with the sweet chirping of the robin (Erithacus rubecula), now abundant in these parts, and the occasional call of an elusive Eurasian collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto). More subtle, but still noticeable to the more curious, is a mild blend of fruity and fungi fragrances coming from the huge variety of mushrooms popping vigorously everywhere.  And today’s post it’s exactly about them!

I  was so convinced that I would “catch” one of those vain and really beautiful red breasted singers on my camera lenses, that only when I stepped on something with a funny texture, realized the variety of mushroom species at my disposal, didn’t waste any more time, a quick change of lenses and off I went on a marvelous discovery:

(oh! I’m not an expert when it comes to fungi, so if you want to help me identifying some of these species, or even if you notice that I mistakenly place a wrong name, please feel free to correct me!! I want to learn! Moving on..)

  c) leccinum ?  pequena aldeia de fadas ../little fairy town..

 d) lactarius ? este tem um ar muito viscoso!! / this one has a very slimy look!!

               

e) fiquei muito intrigada..parece um cerebro.. alguem sabe o que é? /  I was very intrigued by this one, looks like a brain.. anyone?

g) ? belo chapeu nao? / nice hat don’t you think?

 i) ?outro que achei lindo!.. vou chamar-lhe nave espacial ate alguem me dizer o que é! / another that i thought was beautiful I will call it space ship until someone tells me otherwise!

 m)? achei o detalhe do orvalho espectacular… / though that this dew detail was wonderful..

 n)? reparem mesmo ao lado numa auto-estrada de formigas atarefadas! / notice the highway of busy ants!

 f)?

  adorei a “nevoa” neste cogumelo, penso que deve estar relacionado com alguma doença, ou mesmo uma fase da decomposição / loved the “mist” on this mushroom, think it’s something due to malady or rottenness.

 g)?

 outra vez decomposição.. / again decomposition..
